6th Grade PE

As part of the Exploratory Wheel, students will be in PE class for one quarter. This class will be a mixture of Lifetime sports and Team Sports, as well as incorporating cardiovascular exercise and circuit training on a bi-weekly basis. Students will be involved in activities such as; floor hockey, team handball, ultimate, soccer, scooter and other team building activities. Activity selection varies from quarter to quarter depending upon weather and space available. All students are expected to dress daily for physical activity, however, as stated in the Powerpoint below, 6th graders are not issued locks or lockers, so it will be necessary for all students to transport their clothing with them each day.
