6th Grade: Hawaiian Tiki God Project- This project will introduce students to Hawaiian Tiki God Carvings as well as Hawaiian culture and tradition. This piece will introduce students to the concept of symmetry and subtractive sculpture.

8th Grade: Isolation Tapestry Project- Student will be introduced to the theme of isolation. They will then choose an inspirational piece of their own and create an artwork that represent this theme. Students may choose a song, poem, book, or movie, to create from, or they can use their own personal experiences with isolation as inspiration.

6th Grade: Optical Illusion Art- This project will introduce students to optical art, as well as the importance of value when creating the illusion of form.

7th Grade: Contoured Creation- Students will learn how to create a successful contour drawing. We will also focus on color theory and create a unique background using a paint and rubbing alcohol technique.

6th Grade: Dream Catcher Mobile- This project will introduce students to a traditionally Native American art form and the mythology and meaning behind the dream catcher. Student will also gain a knowledge of kinetic sculpture and understand the concept of balance.

7th Grade: 3D Logo Designs- Students will continue to work on their logos. Students will gain an understanding of the use of logos in the representation of companies and develop a logo of their own. This piece will represent each students own unique personality.
